
W. Joseph Hope

Joe Hope is the firm’s managing member and attends to the day-to-day operations of the firm. Mr. Hope has a diverse business and real estate practice including commercial litigation.

He represents entrepreneurs and small to mid-sized businesses, often family-run companies, in a wide range of general business matters, including contract review and negotiation, entity organization and reorganization, mergers and acquisitions, business planning, and outside general counsel services. Mr. Hope helps clients address day-to-day legal needs efficiently and proactively and serves as a trusted advisor to his clients. Mr. Hope prides himself on forming longstanding, close relationships with his clients, giving him a deep understanding of the client’s organization and business.

A significant portion of Mr. Hope’s clients comprise real estate professionals, including real estate developers, real estate portfolios, property managers, contractors, tradesman and design professionals. Mr. Hope has extensive experience representing and advising clients in all aspects of real estate transactions, including contract negotiation, due diligence, tax deferred exchanges, development and complex title issues. Mr. Hope regularly represents commercial landlords and tenants in lease drafting and negotiation, and leasing disputes.

Mr. Hope’s litigation practice includes extensive trial experience, including bench and jury trials, as well as arbitration and mediation. He has represented clients in commercial and real estate litigation matters, including commercial evictions and landlord collection matters, quiet title actions, construction disputes and municipal tax and zoning appeals. He also handles contract and business disputes, commercial collections and partnership disputes.
